Panasonic Lumix G80 (G85): Review

Panasonic has just released the new mirrorless camera Lumix DMC-G80 (DMC-G85, DMC-G81). It has 4K video mode, second generation of Dual IS system, 3.5mm jack for stereo microphone and it is also dust and water resistant. How did it perform in our test?

Optical zoom is a matter of the lens used and not the camera. Nevertheless, we want to present the abilities of the kit 12-60mm lens.

5× optical zoom is above average (typical kit lens offers 3× zoom). Therefore, it is more versatile. Also, the image quality is impressive in the central part of the image. Nevertheless, it is a little bit worse in the corners.
